Sulaymaniyah, 15 September 2009: Asuda successfully concluded Women Empowerment in IDPs and Host Communities in Sulaymaniyah governorate.

The QANDIL supported activity targetted women in IDPs communities and comrpised workshops and seminars on GBV as well as providing individual support to women to provide them with income generation opportunities to beneficiaries.

The six-month project also included home visits to provide counselling and awareness about women's rights and Gender-Based Violence as well as providing social and legal advice to women regarding GBV.
