Sulaymaniyah, 22 January 2009: Asuda signed with QANDIL an agreement to implement a project to provide support to women and children in IDPs and host communities in Sulaymaniyah governorate.

The project which started as of 1 February 2009 will target IDPs in Bakrajo, Kani Spika, Awal, Kostai Cham, Zerinok, Qalawa and Zharawa.  Asuda will provide consueling and awareness in Gender Based Violence [GBV] and other specific themes such as indeginous identify, discrimination and domestic violence.
