Sulaymaniyah, 11 March 2009: Ms. Khanum Raheem Lateef received at Asuda's office in Sulaymaniyah a joint delegation representing Danish Refugee Council and Country of Origin Information Center in Norway.

The delegation comprised Ms. Gro Hasselknippe from Land Info, the Country of Origin Information Center in Norway, Mr. Jens Weise Olesen, Chief Advisor at the Danish Immigration Service, Ms. Amira Nitze Hassan, Regional Advisor for Middle East at the Documentation and Research Division at the Danish Immigration Service as well as Ms. Dorte Smed, Legal Advisor at the Danish Refugee Council.

The visiting delegation discussed with Asuda the status of women in Kurdistan and issues if women protection as well as current mechanisms in use for protection of women. Amendments to the Personal Status Code in Kurdistan was also discussed. Both sides also discussed the situtaion of families repatriated to Kurdistan from European countries.
