Sulaymaniyah, 5 March 2009, Within the framework of activities of Women Empowerment in IDs and Host Communities supported by QANDIL, a seminar was conducted in Awal area of Bakarajo in Sulaymaniyah. 50 Women and men along with local officials participated in the seminar in which Gender Based Violence was discussed. Other relevant issues such as amendments to Personal Status Laws were also discussed.
