Sulaymaniyah, 22 January 2009, Ms. Allyson Nelson, Consultant at the Office of the Adviser for Social Affairs of the KRG Council of Ministers accompanied by Mr. Aras Qadir Salih at the Office of the Adviser for Social Affairs and Mr. Twana Ali Kamal, Public Relations and Information Officer at Sulaymaniyah Gender-Based Violence Department visited Asuda and met Ms. Khanum Rahem Lateef, Asuda's Programme Manager.

Ms. Nelson and and Ms. Lateef discussed Asuda's activities and issues of violence against women as well as Asuda shelter. The visiting delegation also met a number of cases protected at Asuda shelter.
