Sulaymaniyah, 18 December 2008. Following days of activities marking the International Day for the Elimination of gender Based Violence, Asuda successfully concluded activities during 16 days from 25 November to 10 December 2008 marking the event in Sulaymaniyah Governorate.

The activities which included publication and dissemination of banners , leaflets broadcasting radio prgroams on Nawa Radio covering issues and topics about 25 November and the 16 Days of Activism against gender based violence.

The activities were implemented in the districts of Rania, Pishdar, Halabja, Sahrbazher and Penjwin.

In the course of the campaign, Asuda conducted seminars in several secondary and intermediate schools in the target locations in Sulaymaniyah governorate and benefitted hundreds of schools girls and boys.
