On 23 November 2008, Asuda concluded a 5-day training course for NGOs from Central and Southern Iraq. The training conducted in Sulaymaniyah included lectures and sessions on Human Rights issues including Gender and Violence against Women, Management Skills and several other topics.

The training also included visits to a number of NGOs in Sulaymaniyah to exchange views and experience regarding issues of common interest to both sides.
