Sulaymaniyah, On 22 October 2008, a TV crew from the Dubai based Al-Aan TV visited Asuda and met with Ms. Kazhal Najmaddin Ali, Asuda's Protection Department Officer-in-Charge.

The TV crew sought Asuda's assitance to produce a documentary programme on the issue of violence against women in Kurdistan and Iraq.

The TV crew recorded clips, interviewed staff and took stories of women who received support and portection from Asuda and its shelters.
