Sulaymaniyah, On 22 October 2008 Ms. Maria Hagberg and Ms. Kit Larsen Hughes representatives of Network against Honor Related Violence visited Asuda and met with Ms. Khanum Raheem Lateef, Asuda's Programme Manager.

Ms. Hagberg and Hughes discussed with Asuda issues of honor related violence in Kurdistan and the importance of networking amongst Organizations working on honor related violence. Both sides also exchnaged views over several issues related to women's rights and violence against Women.

Ms. Lateef briefed the visiting delegation about Asuda's activities and the work in the women protection shleter run by Asuda.
