On 4 October 2008, a delegation represneting the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) visited Asuda and met Ms. Khanum Raheem Lateef, Asuda's Programme Manager.

 Mr. Fredrik Westerholm, Country Programme Co-cordinator, Department for Asia, Middle East and North Africa and Mr. Tristan Troby discussed with Asuda the humanitarian situtaion in the region and situtaion of women and violence against women. SIDA and Asuda discussed Gender-Based Violance and SIDA's future programmes and actvities.

Asuda briefed the visiting delegation about Asuda's current activites and future plans and programmes.
