Sulaymaniyay: Asuda granted supported by Unitarian Universalist Service Committee [UUSC] to implement a project for WOmen's Rights Awareness project for Women IDPs in Kirkuk.

The project targets 220 WOmen IDPs in Kirkuk and aims at promoting the awareness of Women IDPs on women's rights. Thr project comprises conducting of workshops in which lectures will be given to the beneficiaries.

The main activities of the project include:

 1-    Giving lectures and orientation sessions as well as counseling to beneficiaries.
2-    Distribution of handbooks containing material relevant to lectures given to beneficiaries.
3-    Conducting four workshops over a period of four weeks with beneficiaries. The four workshops topics will be Gender, Women’s Rights, Violence and International Conventions on Women’s Rights
4-    The workshops will be in interactive form in order to give the opportunity to participants to react and interact with the workshop subjects and discussions.
