Sulaymaniyah, The Gender-Based Violence Department published a statement with a photo of a fugitive honor-killing suspect who is accused of the murder of Kurdistan Aziz on 29 May 2008 in Kolkarash village of Siktan Sub-distrct in Koya. 

In the course of the statement, the Police Department demands cooperation from the public to provide information on whereabout of Dashti Abdullah Haji Mohammed.

The Gender-Based Violence Department of the Police was established to follow up and investigate honor killing crimes and violence agianst women.
