As part of the NED funded 'Women's Rights Monitoring Project in Northern Iraq, Asuda is due to launch its training and capacity building for several selected NGOs from the center and south of the country.

The 5-day training program scheduled to be conducted in October 2008 will provided the participating NGOs with information about human rights monitoring as well as training on organziational management and networking for recently established NGOs in centeral and southern Iraq.

Asuda has been a partner of the Washington based National Endowment for Democracy [NED] since 2003 . NED is providing support to Women's Rights Monitoring activities in Northern Iraq.
