On 10 August 2008, Asuda launched an awareness project for IDPs and Refugees in Erbil supported by UNHCR. The project targets locations populated by IDPs and Refugees in Hareer, Kawa Camp, Makhmour Camp, Shawais, Binaslawa, Kalak, Girdachal and Kasnazan.

The project entitled "Gender Based Violence Awareness Campaign" for Community and Religious Leader in IDPs and Refugees communities in Erbil governorate, aims at providing information and promote awareness of IDPs and Refugees communities about gneder based violence and its consequences.
