On the occasion of the establishment of Wala Foundation for Communication and Publishing and marking the first anniversary of Wala Magazine, Ms. Khanum Raheem Lateef received in Sulaymaniyah an Award in appreciation for her support and cooperation with the press and media outlets.

The Award was also given to a number of high profile politicians, media professionals and journalists as well as social figures and civil society activists was received by Mr. Lateef 19 May 2010.

Upon reciving the Award, Ms. Lateef thanked Wala Press and Mr. Adalat Abdullah, Director of Wala Foundation for giving her the award and expressed her wishes for a better profressional future for the foundation.
