Sulaymaniyah, Ms. Runa Myrvold, Migration Attaché at the Norwegian Embassy in Amman accompanied by Mr. Felipe Atkins, NPA Country Director visited Asuda and met Ms. Khanum Raheem Lateef, Asuda Director.

Ms. Myrvold and Mr. Atkins discussed the recent media campaign against Asuda and expressed their assurance that neither NPA nor any of thier staff were involved in the campaign. Both sides also discussed women's rights situtaion in the region and Asuda activities.

The visting delegeation also met some of Asuda Protection Department staff and also visited the shelter and various departments.

The delegation expressed their support and appreciattion to the work of Asuda, the shelter and protection department work in particular.
