Ms. Khanum Raheem Lateef, Asuda Director participated in the True Heroes Conference for Human Rights Defenders held at the Hague, Netherlands between 19 to 20 April 2010.

Ms. Lateef was invited by the True Heroes Films Foundation as a Human Rights Defender to attend the conference.

The foundation 'True Heroes, films for Human Rights Defenders' has as its mission to protect human rights defenders worldwide through the production and distribution of film images.

Ms. Lateef participated in two panels with Mr. Ruud Lubbers, former Dutch Prime Minister and former UNHCR Chief and current Chairman of the Council of Rotterdam Climate Initiative and another panel with Human Rights Defenders.
