110 - Asuda Domestic Violence Hotline [ADVH] Print E-mail

Asuda FREE Hotline Service Provides  FREE and easy access to Asuda Protection Services 

Asuda provides various support services to women and girls viticms of domestic violence, abuse and threats. The services include providing protection in Asuda shelter as well as legal advice and support, psycho-social services and counselling.

Women and girls who need support and help can reach Asuda and access our services through the Asuda Domestic Violence Hotline [ADVH] on 110.

Women and girls can call ADVH from any mobile phone [AsiaCell] throughout Iraq and from any landline from Kurdtel landline telephone operator in Sulaymaniyah. This Service is FREE from these two telecom operators.

The 110 service number can also be accessed from other operators through calling the number + Kurdtel access code [053 110] however caller will be charged.

The hotline operates via a computerized Interactive Voice Response [IVR] system through which the caller will be diverted to the appopriate department and section. The IVR system and Asuda service operators are able to respond to calls in Kurdish, Arabic and English Language.

Callers can select the appropriate language by dialing 1, for Kurdish, 2 for Arabic and 3 for English.

After selecting the appropriate lanugage, the caller can select the service required from the IVR main menu by dialing the number of the service required as follows:

1. To seek protection.

2. To seek legal service.

3. To follow up an ongoing case file on Asuda's records.

4. To request psycho-social support.

5. To go back to the main menu.
