Sulaymaniyah: Asuda hosted on 6 April 2010 a meeting for Women activists from Iraqi Kurdistan and Kurdish representatives and women activists from Amed [Diyabakir]. Participants discussed details and preparations required for a conference scheduled to be hold 24 and 25 April 2010 in Amed.

Participants were Ms. Khanum Raheem Lateef, Asuda's Director, Ms. Ameera Hassan, Activist, Ms. Tania Kamal, RASAN NGO Director, Ms. Ala Kamal, Activist, Ms. Parwin Aziz, Activist. The following women activists members of Municipal Council from Turkey were also present in the meeting: Ms. Gulbehar, in-charge of Political Section at the Women's Movement [Tevgara Azadiya Jinan], Ms. Cagler Demirel, Member of the Municipal Council and Ms. Xemrevin.
