Baghdad, 18 March 2010: Asuda's Programme Officer at the Baghdad Office was awarded by Baghdad Women Association for her contributions to the activities and works implemented by women NGOs and organizations for the benefit of women.

The award was given to Ms. Parwin Mohammed Amin in the course of activities conducted by Baghdad Women Assoication marking 8th March, International Women's Day. Other women activists and NGOs were also awarded during the same event. Amongst those awarded were Ms. Hanaa Edward and Ms. Sundus Abbas.
