Sulaymaniyah: As of early February, Asuda started an Awareness project on elections and voting for women in the governorates of Diyala, Salahaddin, Mosul and Kirkuk. The porject funded by Bridging the Divide and aims at promoting and enhancing the awareness of women about the importance of participation in elections and voting in the upcoming elections, particularly the March 7th 2010 elections.

The project target focuses on women in vulnerable and marigilaized communities in Diyala, Salahaddin, Mosul and Kirkuk.
