Sulaymaniyah, 16 September 2009: Asuda started a Human Rights Public Awareness Campaign project supported by Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the British Embassy in Erbil.

The project will target Sulaymaniyah governorate and aims at increasing knowledge of Iraqis’ constitutional protections, legal rights and democratic principles to improve respect for the Rule of Law as well as increasing awareness of, and advocacy against,  domestic violence against women and the importance of women as a stabilising force in Iraq’s society.
