Sulaymaniyah, 15 September 2009: Following the start of the FGM survey project activities in August 2009, Asuda started field deployment of researchers in the target areas. Researchers started data collection and interviews with selected samples of interviewees.
The project funded by Diakonia targets Rania, Hawraman, Kifri, Kalar, Chamchamal and Sulaymaniyah center districts in Sulaymaniyah governorate.
