Sulaymaniyah, 2 September 2009: Mr. Jon Winks, British Deputy Ambassador to Iraq and Mr. Jeremy Macadie, Consul General in Erbil visited Asuda and met Ms. Khanum Raheem Lateef, Asuda's Programme Manager.

Ms. Raheem briefed the visiting delegation about Asuda's activities and progress of a project supported by Foreign and Commonwealth Office [FCO] on awareness and training on Human Rights. 

Both sides also discussed the current situation of women in the region as well as issues of violence against women and relevant laws.
