Duhok, 8 July 2009: Asuda and Diakonia signed an agreement for a project to conduct a survey on FGM practice in Sulaymaniyah governorate. The project funded by Diakonia comprises conducting a field survey in Sulaymaniyah to identify trends and causes of FGM practice in the region and analyse the survey results.

The porject shall produce a report with the survey findings as well as conclusions and recommendations.
