Sulaymaniyah 25 April 2009: Asuda completes a series of seminars on women's political participation and elections awareness within the framework of a porject funded by Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC).

The project provided information and guidance for women on poiticial rights, voting and nomination for elections in the context of Iraqi constitution and the international conventions and agreements on women's political rights.

The project targetted districts and sub-distiricts in Sulaymaniyah governorate including Khurmal, Said Sadiq, Halabja and Sulaymaniyah.
